CARDIFF - 02.04.2005

LOL!!! No!...I swear, I didn't throw a chip at that chick's head!
Nearly had a run-in with some Welsh natives, but that bit of
drama need not be the focus of this latest adventure.
Never actually been to Wales before, so it was something new
for me and I'm glad I'm as open minded as I am, cos I would
have missed out, otherwise!
Organised by NAUGHTY PROCEEDINGS - London,
DAPS & Co. made their way to Cardiff via Paddington Train Station
in just over 2.5 hours. Heated rivalry in the Black Jack games
provided the necessary hype for this group outing.
Touch-down was smooth (LOL!!! - Private Joke)...We proceeded
to the Novotel Hotel and checked-in. The rooms were to an
adequate standard, as certain man (+ guests) would discover
and utilise to their extent, later on...Oh Lord!
No, I didn't...before you ask!

Took a brief tour of Cardiff Town Centre, downed some
Chinese Food at Noble House Chinese Restaurant
(No Leeks for me, ta mate!) and stocked-up on some
premium spirits. Big-up Kong, who mistook the question
"where's there to go round here?" as an enquiry about other
restaurants!!! No Kong, we were not dissin' your service.
He meant "WHAT CLUBS?!"...Knob.
Anyway...Food was good and Kong redeemed himself
enough to get a tip. But, I know the female waitress was cursing
us in chinese.

Oooh Wee!!...After near finishing every bottle we bought,
we showered, sprayed the Aftershave and Lynx and hit the town.
Ever been to Croydon on a Weekend evening? Well, it was busier
and the vibe was much much much better.
Every club had a queue (bar the swag ones at the end of the road).
After a quick bevvy and photo-shoot at Edwards, we hit the streets,
in search of any club closing later than 3am.
People suggested some club called Creations and some Gay Clubs,
but we nah inna dem funny guy tings!

We ended up at RISA.
Entry was a mere £5! £5?!!! The club had 3 Floors...are you joking?!
Music Policy - Ground Floor: Obscure House & Dance!!
Lower Floor: Commercial R&B and HipHop,
Top Floor: Pop & Disco Classics.
Certain man went against the rules of engagement and latched onto
one chick for the rest of the night, while myself and others did our
best to harrass and take photos with as many chicks as we could!!!
The vibe in Edwards was much better because, as we all
know from those holidays in the Med, House & Dance Music sets a
totally different tone. Or maybe I'm being biased, cos people thought
we were footballers and marvelled at our prowess!!! LOL! Ahh Jeeez!

All-in-all, Cardiff is a must for anyone who wants to spend a couple of
nights in another city, without breaking the bank.
Overall cost - Approximately £55 per person, based on two sharing
a room.
That includes return train from Paddington and 1 Night with Bed &
Breakfast at the Novotel Hotel. Oh! Buffet Breakfast yeah?
Which means eat as much as you like before 11am!!!
This review is getting long, so just check out the pictures!
