Hey
Hey!...As Crusty would say!
Nay and Crew did it again! Bubbles on New Years Day was a good night
and there was some question as to whether they could pull it off twice...They
Did.
The
place got packed to the point where people had to queue to get in,
then queue to get down to the Dancefloor! No sympathy for those who
turned
up at 2am and them mad times - this ain't no blues dance,
rude-bwoy!
The
Loop Bar is definitely a venue that has
hidden surprises.
I've been past there, on trips to Footlocker and thought it was a
one level little bar - Foolish boy!
The main entrance and street level bar is deceptively small, but
as you decend the stairs, you'll find that this spot has three floors,
three bars, a lounge area, restaurant and seating booths on both
of the lower floors. Might have to go there for lunch real soon!
Ain't buying alcohol though - £6.20 for a double Ameretto?!...Are
you mad?!!!
Anyway...Music Policy was the usual and my only true highlight
was the Old Skool Garage Set and the likkle piece of 80s Soul
at the end! Yep...that always brings smiles.
The younger patrons seemed to enjoy the R&B and Bashment,
but there was a feeling of reservedness among the crowd.
Today's Uni circuit don't know they're born, mate!
