Remember Breakdance, Beat Street & Wyld Style?...Me Neither!...
I'm playin'! But, it has been so long since I've seen any of those movies that I had to take up the offer for
DAPS & Co. to visit Cirque and reclaim the memories of my youth.
I actually saw Breakdance at the cinema, so you know I ain't some Spring Chicken!

Apparently the Carnival is a yearly event - one of them "Industry" tings that are filmed for television
and host some of the world's most reknowned Street Dancers.
I didn't know what to expect, cos I was more into the shuffle, the running-man and dem kinda dances,
when I was coming up, but when I tell you that there are people out in the UK with major talent,
I ain't lying?!

It was a top Showcase and awards were given to some miscellaneous dudes I ain't ever seen before
and some more familiar faces from television.
One of the 3 dancers used for VW Golf's "Singin In The Rain" TV ad was there and recieved an award for
Outstanding Achievement. He also did some random Mars Bar advert (Bruce Lee)...Err...Hmm.

The highlight was, of course, Adolfo "Shabba-Doo" Quiñones aka "Ozone" from the Breakdance flick and
co-star Anna Sanchez aka "Lollipop". Michael "Shrimp" Chambers aka Turbo was supposed to make it over,
but some kind of politics stopped that from happening.
Ozone (Now 50 years old!) & Kelly (now 47!)put on a little show for us and showed us ALL that dancing
definitely "keeps you young"...More Raving! They still had some of those moves and got a well-deserved
round of applause for their parting words of wisdom and their ability to still show us why we
LUUUUUUUUUUURRRRVE that Old Skool Sh**!!!

I wish I took an extra battery to capture more video footage, but I did what I could...As always! ENJOY!
